Racialicious- talks about Racism:
1. Microsoft's Project Natal doesn't care about black people. On this topic, they are talking about how the people that are portrayed are always white and when something is ever blurred out you can't even see black people. They are saying that television in general has many racist tendencies and most of the people that are discussing on this thread agree with the article. Argument 1: They are all pretty much in agreement and even talk about how they appreciate the fact that Microsoft responded quickly.
Argument 2: Another argument brought up is that most of the people that can afford Project Natal wouldn't be among the minority groups (stereotypically) so Microsoft didn't foresee this as an issue.
Argument 3: This person is talking about how they are conforming to television as well by making censors on the game to where you can't see black people. The person commenting is saying how this is not okay and is racist.
There is no moderator because it is a discussion thread based on public comments.

2.Don't Hate the Player, Hate the Game. This post talks about how there is racialization of labor in World of Warcraft. The people that commented on this really liked the way it was presented and agreed with the author.
Argument 1: They made the argument that we have gone full circle as a society because it is a lot like the farmers and minorities in Reconstruction after the Civil War.
Argument 2: Another point brought up was about the gold farmers and how they are clearly the hated characters in the game. They are usually representing minorities so this seems to be racist and unfair. He says that you can't kill them though so they are always there as a nuisance. He says that is what they are trying to portray in our society about minorities.
Argument 3: Although the gold farmers are representing minorities such as Asians, it is good to note that Asians are among the best players of World of Warcraft so if it was really too offensive, they wouldn't play the game enough to win all the records.

3. City Councilman Promoted Violent Anti-immigrant Video Games. This post got people very upset because it is for the idea that it is ok to have racism in the videogames and that there is valid reasons for it.
Argument 1: The discussion, for the most part, is in agreement because they are all very upset and annoyed at the article and the stance that was taken on it. They didn't agree with the fact that the author views immigrants as ignorant.
Argument 2: This person is arguing that although some people may say this is "just a game", it is the underlying theme of how people actually view immigrants and it is very hateful.
Argument 3: This person is concerned with the aniti-immigrant racism about swine flu reaching Mexico and the harm that is going to come to those people groups.
